What am I actually buying?
A random card from a group of cards we own and have already shown you. Not a chance at nothing. Every pack contains a real graded card worth at least the floor printed on the page.
How do you pick which card I get?
Think of a shelf holding every card we own for that club, always in the same order, sorted by the number on the plastic case. Setting your years marks off the section you're buying from. Then a number generated from a sealed seed counts down that section to your card.
How do I know you're not cheating?
Before a run opens we publish the whole pool and lock it with a hash. Afterwards we publish the key that lets anyone recheck their own pull. If we had kept the best card out of the pool, it would be obvious to anyone who looked.
Why graded cards only?
A graded card has been inspected and sealed by an outside company, so its condition is a fact rather than an argument. That's what lets us promise a floor and mean it. With ungraded cards the floor becomes our opinion, and there's no referee when you disagree.
What are my odds of the big card?
Bad, and we publish exactly how bad. One grail, 150 packs. Almost everyone lands in the middle of the distribution, which is why we show the whole thing rather than just the ceiling.
Can I sell the card back to you?
No, and we won't offer credit either. A card ships to you or trades card for card. Selling is something you do wherever you like, and we take nothing from it.
What if the grail gets pulled while I'm paying?
Then part of what you paid for is gone, so we reprice your pack at the corrected number and refund the difference automatically. You'll get a message saying exactly what happened and when.
Why is my club not available?
We build one pool at a time and go deep before opening it. A shallow pool makes for thin year ranges and dishonest odds. Join the list on your club's page and the ones with the most people waiting get built first.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States except Washington State. Tracked, and signature required above a few hundred dollars.
Is this gambling?
Every pack delivers a physical card above a stated floor, there's no cash-out, no credit, no tokens, and nothing to lose entirely. It's closer to buying a sealed pack at a card shop than to a wager, and it's designed that way deliberately.
